Aesthetics: (def) noun: a branch of philosophy dealing with the nature of beauty, art, and taste and with the creation and appreciation of beauty.

Ology: (def) noun: a subject of study; a branch of knowledge.

Aesthology combines aesthetics and ology to express the way we bring together art, beauty, and science in our work.

We are in this business of bringing about change with subtle enhancements - think Rembrandt's light.

 

Hey, I’m Jennifer the owner of Aesthology.

I graduated from the Master of Nursing: Nurse Practitioner in 2017 where I found my passion in primary care. My favorite part of this role is forming relationships with my patients at all life stages and helping them navigate their health. In 2019 I decided to take a step into the world of aesthetic medicine.

My vision when starting Aesthology (previously Bella Beauty Skin Clinic) was to break down the negative stereotypes associated with aesthetic injections. No one should feel shameful because they are proactive about how they want to age.

Whether you want to shout “I get Botox” from the rooftop or keep it as our little secret, I am here for you. My speciality is providing patients with subtle but effective enhancements to have a “natural” look that leaves you feeling refreshed and beautiful while still remaining confident in your own skin. When you choose me as your injector, you are gaining that life long best friend who has your best interest at heart, who listens, who is honest, and is never afraid to give you honest, educated opinions.

You are at the centre of your aesthetic plan. We start by listening to you and what you love about your face. From here we provide a full-face assessment with the understanding of proportions, facial anatomy, and aging process to develop your individualized treatment plan.

At Aesthology, you will be relieved of the guesswork, worry, and information overload that can accompany aesthetic treatments. All of your questions will be answered with honesty and integrity - you will have us with you every step of the way from consultation to treatment, and follow-up to future treatments. We give you the assurance you deserve with our injectors who are highly trained in both aesthetics and medicine.

When I am not injecting I continue to have a busy family medicine practice.

Blending the two has brought together my love and passion for science, education, and being creative - I get to inject for the love of injecting.

I am a proud auntie,plant mom and live an active lifestyle travelling, hiking, biking, kayaking and enjoying a cup of coffee whenever I have a moment.

Fast facts:

  • I spent eight years in post-secondary education. Before I was a Nurse Practitioner I worked in Northern Manitoba on remote outpost nursing stations.

  • I have been to both the Arctic and Antarctic circle

  • There is never a time when I do not have a plane ticket booked.

  • I have been to 28 countries and 6 continents.

  • I’ll take good coffee or none, americano misto, please.

  • I am turning into a serious plant mom.

  • I will find a song and listen to it on repeat for days.
